Class Information
All tools are provided and no experience is necessary. Supplies are ordered on a monthly basis.
The first month, some of the basic jewelry skills taught are sawing, forming, texturing, forging, drilling, polishing and cold connections. The second month, design, forming, fabrication and soldering are taught.
Students work at their own pace. There are no grades and these classes are meant to feed your soul and creative self, not to put pressure on one's self or to be prefect. These classes are fun.
After the first 2 months, students can work on individual projects. Students can bring in their old gold to melt down and reuse.
Please contact me for directions to the studio, which is located near Pittsboro, NC.

This is a work in progress. Sterling silver with 14K accents.
18 K gold with diamonds. These used to be an ulgy pin. I made the hooks out of 14 k gold. These are another example of how you can melt down your old jewelry to make new lovely designs.
I just love these!!! They hold so many possibilities. Bi-metals, sterling & 14 k, patina, copper.
